(More customer reviews)Looked around a lot for a nice locking mailbox for a housewarming present for my son & daughter-in-law.In person and online I saw several wall-hung locking mailboxes that weren't attractive (or were downright hideous), and several attractive ones that weren't secure.Of the lot, this was the most promising.And it wasn't as outrageously expensive as many.Ordered it thru Amazon, and kept my fingers crossed.It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was well-packed.It's really pretty.I ordered the antique copper finish (thinking it would go well with the slate trim on their new house) and it's perfect.It's got good weight to it---not flimsy at all.It's got a decent-sized place for mail, with a nice big flap for the mail carrier.It looks great on their house, and best of all they love it---and they're even harder to please than I am!
After it had been up for a few weeks, I happened to be there at the same time as the mail-carrier, and she said it's a good design from her viewpoint as well---big enough for small packages, and the opening opens and closes easily & securely.
